NEW YORK - Sept. 8th, 2022/PRNewswire• In July and August of 2018 the Israel Ministry of Tourism recorded record numbers of visitors from America. 78,000 tourists from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This is a 4% increase over 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% higher than in the year 2019. Eyal Carlin is the North American Tourism Commissioner. He said, It's so exciting to again see an increasing number of tourists visiting Israel from America, already in the process of surpassing or exceeding our record breaking numbers of 2019. The United States is our top market for inbound tourism for Israel. Before the COVID-19 epidemic, we saw record-breaking numbers of Israeli tourists entering Israel every month. We are extremely happy to see such a positive shift and expect this trend to last for a long time. Canada is also on track, just like the United States, to surpass the number of tourists who visit Israel. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all travelers, regardless whether they're vaccination-free. It already has hosted more than 600,000 visitors.
